The main purpose of our event is to create a safe and welcoming space for experienced digital nomads, remote workers, and other experienced location independent humans to connect and build community. We’re thrilled you want to be a part of that!

About the Conference

Our volunteers are an extension of the core 7in7 team, and help us literally create the stage for the one-on-one conversations that are the most important part of 7in7.

There’s a lot to do. Here’s some of our volunteer roles from past events:

  • Greet attendees when they arrive
  • Handle workshop check-ins
  • Run the registration desk on the main stage days
  • Mic speakers and panelists before their sessions


Things to Know

Things to know about 7in7:

  • It’s a week-long event. There are meetups, interactive workshops, main stage events, and a charitable volunteer opportunity to cap it all off. We’ll work to make sure you can enjoy these events as well as fulfill your assigned duties.

  • It’s exclusively for experienced nomads. We require all attendees and volunteers to have been location independent for at least one year.

  • We want to get to know you. If we like your application, you’ll have a call with a member of our team. We’ll talk about why you’d like to come to 7in7 and what you have to contribute.

  • We love sticking to a clear schedule. If accepted, you’ll be asked to sign an agreement to participate in 7in7 Year Five. Volunteers will be expected to adhere to a schedule that includes arriving a week before the main stage day, and being available during official 7in7 events, meetups, and workshops. The mandatory volunteer orientation will take place in September 2022 at least a week before the main stage day.


Compensation

What about compensation?

  • We believe in compensating people for their time and energy. All volunteers receive an all-access ticket to 7in7 Year Five. A US$599 value.

  • We do not cover airfare or accommodation. If possible, we will offer you a discounted rate at a hotel near the venue.

  • We cannot offer free tickets to your partner or members of your family.
