First Speakers for 7in7 Year Three!
by Nick on May 4, 2018
Gird your loins people, because we’re ready to announce our first round of speakers and workshop facilitators for this year’s conference in Medellín!
Our goal has always been to find the most podcast-worthy, deviously fascinating, and utterly remarkable group of humans who have something amazing to share. So, with absolutely no additional fanfare, let’s meet the first members of the Year Three family…
Speaker
The 4-Hour Hobby: Why You Need a Hobby and Not Another Business
Amber is a writer and self described “content machine”. If she’s not scuba diving, she’s viciously defending the Oxford comma. She’ll be speaking at 7in7 about why nomads need to pursue a hobby instead of starting another business.
Speaker
Make Friends, Influence People, Keep Your Soul
Daisy is a cake-loving feminist, VP of Community at Roam, and a fellow 7in7 alumni. In between bursts of globetrotting, she’ll be landing at 7in7 to share how we can all power up our networks, positively influence people, and keep our souls squeaky clean in the process.
Liz Scully
Founder, Rethink Central
Speaker
Think Like a Film Crew – Your Story is Important
Liz is practically a household name if you were at 7in7 Year Two. The master of masterminds is back for Year Three with fresh content and new perspectives on how we consider our lives and the stories we tell about ourselves.
Workshop Facilitator
The Authentic Connection Playshop
Back by popular demand! If you’ve ever shown up to an event alone, you can appreciate just how wonderful Natasha’s workshops, games, and activities can be to jump start your confidence. She’ll be facilitating a workshop at 7in7 about how to pursue and deepen authentic connections.
Speaker
Inclusivity and Social Responsibility in the Digital Nomad Space
Vianessa is a veteran nomad, writer, and actor with a penchant for vibrant storytelling. She’ll be speaking at 7in7 about how to be intentionally inclusive and socially responsible within the greater nomadic community.
Have you got your ticket yet for this October in Medellín, Colombia? Join 100 of your fellow nomads for a week of activities, meetups, workshops, and a boatload of new best friends.
Nick’s been coding for over 20 years. As a nomadic software engineer, he’s worked with major brands like Disney and Adobe, but now focuses his time on remote clients and handling 7in7’s finances like a Swiss bank. He prides himself on his minimalism and loves to nurture creativity.
